Hailing from Cavite, Philippines, Pus Vomit was formed in 2005. The original line up was Marco on vocals, Louie on guitars, and me on Drums. It all started when Marco and Louie wanted to put up a mid paced slamming brutal death metal band. They needed a drummer to complete the sick project so they recruited Paul, also from Cavite, but unfortunately it didn’t work out as planned because of the style of drumming. They contacted me, and we went to studio and jammed our asses off, and we loved the outcome so we continued and eventually created our first song “Your Dead Body I Molest.” We needed a name for the band, Marvic (Marco’s older brother) suggested Pus Vomit. We like the gory feel of the name so we adapted it. In the same year, we released a rehearsal demo CDR, a mono, dirty as fuck raw recording. ”Vomit The Abdominal Pus” was released in the same year, a studio recording, a re-recording of the three tracks from the first offering. This recording shows the sick and brutal capabilities of the band. Marco decided to part ways with the band, good thing, Benjie, a long time friend of ours, is willing to fill up the hole in the line up. - Ryan
